Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Rekdan. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require email verification and may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.

Rekdan provides AI-assisted chat, file processing, and optional memory features. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You must review output before relying on it and remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and use of output. Rekdan is not medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice, and must not be used as a substitute for qualified professional judgment or emergency services.

You retain any rights you have in prompts, files, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as necessary to provide, secure, improve the operation of, and comply with law in connection with Rekdan. You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful bases needed to submit Your Content and instruct us to process it.

Do not submit malware; illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content; payment-card data; government identifiers; protected health information; trade secrets; or other highly sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so and have determined that Rekdan is appropriate for it. You must not use Rekdan to develop or facilitate wrongdoing, violate others’ rights, bypass safeguards or plan limits, scrape or probe the service, reverse engineer it except where law prohibits that restriction, or interfere with its operation.

Paid plans are subscriptions processed by Stripe. Prices, billing interval, included limits, taxes, renewal terms, and any applicable cancellation or refund terms are shown at checkout or in the Stripe customer portal. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with your subscription. Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change plans or pricing prospectively with notice where required by law. We may downgrade, suspend, or terminate paid access for failed payment, chargeback, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

We and our licensors own Rekdan, including its software, branding, and all related intellectual-property rights. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Rekdan for its intended purpose. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

Rekdan is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Rekdan, including models, features, and limits. We may suspend access immediately when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rekdan and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; or the cost of substitute services, arising from or related to Rekdan or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to Rekdan will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to us for Rekdan in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rekdan, its affiliates, and their personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of Rekdan, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using Rekdan at any time and may delete your account through the service. We may terminate or suspend your access as described in these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms, survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection law, state and federal courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Rekdan.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
