Data Retention & Memory

Chats are retained until you delete them or permanently delete your account. They are used to display your history and provide the conversation context you request.

Uploaded and generated files expire automatically according to your plan: Free 24 hours, Lite 30 days, Pro 90 days, and Max 180 days. You can remove a file sooner. Before launch, this policy must be updated if retention settings or storage providers change.

Memory contains facts you explicitly share or save for future chats. You can turn memory off, remove individual facts, or clear all memory at any time. Temporary memory expires automatically; long-term memory stays until you remove it or delete your account.

First cancel any active paid subscription in the Stripe customer portal. Account deletion then permanently removes Rekdan-held account data, chats, files, memories, sessions, and app billing records. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Stripe may retain transaction information as required by law.

We retain account, session, verification, password-reset, subscription, usage, and security records only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure Rekdan, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with law, and protect legal rights. We do not promise a fixed period for these records because the period depends on the record type and applicable obligation.
